Pocatello

Well I made back to Pocatello. More to come later.

Less than

Well I only have less than 24 hours left here. It has been a fun three weeks. It has also been a not so fun three weeks. Tonight we launched some fireworks after layen around doin nothin today. Will probely have one more post tomorrow then all that would be left is the photo album. So take it easy.

Steady, as she goes

Well only a few days left. I didn't really do anythin today exoect for lay around. I did make brownies today. At that was the climax of the day. So with that I will just let you know that I found an awsome music video that you should watch.

Betterish

Well Yesterday was betterish. We went to DC to go see the Washington Monument but all the tickets were gone for the day at freakin 10:00. But anyway so then I was off to the American History Museum. That was ok expect a lot of the exhibits were closed because they are closing the whole museum in September until Summer 2008. After that we went back to Alexandria to go see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. If you have seen the first one and remember how long it was. Be ready for that again. It was a pretty good movie though. Expect for the end. Since they filmed the parts of the second and third at the same time they did a dumb thing of leaving the end too open. But o well I guess it sure gets one ready for the third movie. And besides that we did a little shopping and that's it. So it was a better day.

Lame

Today started out as any other good day. But by the end of the day it turned into the worst days I've had here. It started with me going to bed at like 1:30 2:00 this morning. And I got up at 7:30. SO yah know I was very tired. But that wasn't bad at all compared to what happened after words. It was nice cause I got to go to Mt. Vernon and that was pretty cool. But then my sister and dad got all mad at me for making a little joke about nothing that was only a one liner so it wasn't even like I took it too far. But yeah so anyway we were supposed to go to like at least four museums today cause this will be the last all day cause my dad doesn't want to do anything tomorrow and he has to work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. But anyway so after we got back my sister was all pouty because all she has wanted to do is go swimming and has been a few times. But yeah so instead of doing more stuff that my dad had me plan last night for appartently no reason. So they went swimming and did a bunch of other stuff. But I don't know cause I was soo tired that I just layed down for about five hours while they did whatever. I just really didn't care.

I did make it to the museum last night. We were there till closing time. It was weird though cause I drove to DC and it was my first time driving in stand still free way traffic. It was kinda cool though cause this guy was blocking the lane cause he wanted to get over but there was no room. But he's in the middle of the lane so there is no going around him, no signal on, with a striped area he could've waited in. But anyway so I get behind him and I'm like honk. And then there was like 20 other honks that followed after me. It was pretty awesome to know that I started a honk-a-thon like thing.

But yeah so after they kicked us out of the museum we went to the Cheesecake Factory. I'd been to one in Hawaii before so I wanted to try this one. The cheesecake I had for dessert was so good. O man I wish I had some now. It was Godiva chocolate cheesecake. The factory deliveries nation wide so I think I will have to order some when I get back.

Then today I drove The Mustang around some more, took The Metro into downtown DC to go back to the Postal Museum. After that we went to a baseball game. The Washington Nationals against the San Diego Padres. We had to leave early cause of the parking gate was going to close. But when we left it was 3-2 Padres. So not a good night for DC. Nicer

Yesterday wasn't too bad. Went to see the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials. I should have some pictures of those up later since I have heard some requests for pictures. That is about all of the exciting stuff from yesterday. It pretty much stoped raining so no worries about more flooding.

So far today has gone by pretty good. Took The Mustang to DC. Went and saw the Postal Museum. That has been it so far today. I might go to the National History Museum tonight. If so I might put up a second post tomorrow.

One week

Well I'm down to my last week. I only have one week left till my return to Pocatello. It's actually depressing. After being here for only two weeks I didn't really want to go back. But I guess I must.

So my Fourth of July. Yeah I was pretty excited about going to downtown DC to watch the fireworks. Yesterday morning we watched three 007 movies. That was ok yah know but it all went down hill after that. Instead of going to DC like I had previously thought. We got to go to my Dad's friend's apartment. So they were like six of his friends there then me and my sister. Yeah that was a real dud. The only good thing from last night was that I got to watch Dogma. But yeah so that was my Fourth. Hope you had a better one.

Also it is starting to rain again. I have pictures from the flooding yesterday, and I might have some more if the raining keeps going.

Monday the Third

Well today has been fun so far. For lunch we rode the metro to the Pentagon again to have lunch. But my Dad had to take the bus right back to work. So me and my sister rode the metro back to The Mustang. It was awesome just me and my sister driving The Mustang back to the apartment. O it was awesome. And to top it all off I didn't even get lost. I had to take a different way then we usually do cause of the road but I still made.

No more

Well Saturday we went to the Air and Space museum annex. It was pretty cool. We spent pretty much all day there. I would upload pictures but I have like 120 or some high number like that. But yeah so that was Saturday. Today Sunday we worked on my Dad's truck in the heat for like five hours. I was glad when were done with that. After that we relaxed in the air conditioned apartment. After that we drove around to get some ice cream. And now here I am.

On another note before I leave. When I get back I'm going to pile all the pictures into a digital photo album. So be sure to check back for that. The photo album will also probely be my last post for this blog.

So then

So Friday wasn't too bad. We just sat around until my Dad got home. Then it was off the Commomsary. After that we got back went swimming for a while and then headed for downtown DC. The plan was to mostly see the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials. But didn't work out. I don't know what my Dad was thinking. He park at the national mall and we just walked up that past all the Simithsonian buildings and all that. They were haveing some folklife festavil on the mall but only during the day. And since we didn't get there till about 9:ooish. So we walked all the way up the the Capital building. The video at the end shows some of that. After we got to the Caoital it was on to Union Station. Which was like another 5 blocks. After we got to the station almost everything was closed. So we stoped in at Uno. Let me tell you there is nothing like haveing a nice big juicy burger at 11:45 PM. After that it was the long trek back to the Mustang and onward home. I didn't get to bed till about 1:30 this morning. One last note I forgot my memory card with the pictures so I will put them up later. But in closeing I do have a video for you. So enjoy.
