Concert

So last night I went to the Faith Hill and Tim Mcgraw concert. Actually it was the Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill Soul to Soul 2 concert. I always thought that Faith was more popular. Mabey that's becasue I'm not big in the country scene. But o well. There were probely about five or six songs that I actually knew. But all in all it was not too bad. Below are some pictures I took. You probely can't see too well though. The stage they were on was the coolest thing there though. It had all this changeing stuff and stuff and was just so awsome. Like it could show your basic score board animation and stuff but it also coould show real video like a t.v.

Too bad

Well today has been pretty much lay around and whatever. I got up at 6:30 when my Dad left for work and had been back and forth between sleepy goodness and trying to go to sleep. That lasted till 11 when it was finally time to get up for good. We went to the mall at Pentagon row in Pentagon City near the Pentagon for lunch today. Nothin exoctic only Taco Bell. Came home and played video games for a while and that has been it. Might go to a concert tonight and might not.

Wednesday's Second

If you didn't guess by the title then you must be a real moron. But anyway as the title so nicely put it this is today's (Wednesday's) second post. So if you read my first post then as you know the plan was to go to the Pentagon today. Well to put it bluntly, we did.

First we rode the metro (subway) to the Pentagon. I will have to admit that as my first time at ridding the subway it was totally awesome. I can't wait to go again on at least Monday. If not sooner and later. But anyway the Pentagon

We were only there for my dad's lunch break so we walked around a bit and had lunch. I couldn't believe what it was like. Totally different then I expected. When you walk in you have to get either a visitor's pass if your on like a tour guide or something or you can get a one day ID card. Of course I got that since yah know I do have the connections. The only difference that I know of is that my had my picture. But still that was cool enough. So after the Pentagon my Dad went back to work and me and my sister went back to the apartment to watch more Titus. Only three episode's left.

Then tonight we went and got my sister a bike and went to Hard Times Cafe again for dinner. And that's about it for today. Hopefully more fun stuff tomorrow.

O well

Well so much for downtown DC. Yeah it rained and rained last night, and if it wasn't raining hard then it was raining soft. I don't think it stopped at all. But anyway so we just stayed at the apartment and watch eight episode's of Titus. Disk four of the Season one and two pack. And that's about it. Maybe we'll get to the Pentagon. I hope so but I'm not sure. I will try and have another post up tonight about what really happened today. Thanks.

Yeah

So yeah anyway last night ended with going to see the movie Cars. It was a lot better then I expected. After that we got home and I went to bed. It was only 11 but I was just so tired. But yeah so I ended up getting up at five since I couldn't sleep. Which I didn't get cause I was so tired but yet still no sleep. It didn't matter tough because I had to take my shower at 6. My dad was taking me and my sister to get new id cards. Since he has to get up early to go to work we had to get up early to go to work with him. After we got there and got through the half-hour process of getting our cards my sister got to sit in the car for about three hours. It wasn't that bad at first cause it was cool and cloudy but after it started to clear up it got very hot. After my dad got out about 11:30 we headed home for lunch and a cool apartment.

Tonight we are supposed to take the subway into downtown DC. Good think I just got new walking shoes. I should have pictures up. If not later tonight then expect them tomorrow. Unless I die in a heated gun-fight. But that shouldn't happen right cause I'm only like the second whitest kid anyone could meet. And I'm only going to what I can only assume as a promanet black neighborhood. So peace out.

Mondays

Well I went to bed last night at 12:30. A little past midnight. I thought if I tried to get to to bed earlier then I could get up earlier. Good idea but too bad it wasn't true. I still ended up getting up at 11:00. I guess I was still trying to make up for Saturday night actually it was closer to Sunday morning since I didn't go to bed till like three. But o well. I had to time to get up this morning, shower, get some laundry started then my dad stopped by to pick us up for lunch. We went to this place called Five Guys. It is a burger and frys joint. Not too bad considering all their potatoes are from Idaho. But yeah so that's been about it for today we might do something tonight I don't know. One last thing before I go it's been raining off and on all day.

Sunday

Well Sunday has been the most eventful day so far. It is weird since today is the day I have had so far with the latest start. I didn't get up till NOON. I was so surprised when I got up. But anyway I got up did some stuff then we went and saw Click. That was a really good movie. That is one I will want to see again. Probely not till it's on DVD but would watch it again.

After the movie we went for a drive through some downtown DC. Here are some pictures that I took. Most of them are just pictures that I took, so I don't remember fully what they are.

This is the Washington Memorial. I took it while driving by in the mustang.

IKEA!!

So first things first. If you haven't read Fridays yet scroll down and read it first. I decided to do today's now while I'm here and can still remember things fairly well. I hope.

Since today was Saturday and I slept in during the weekend it was time to be crazy and get up on time. Well if on time is 9:30. But I figured it was since I had been getting up at 10:30 to 11:00 during the week. After we got up I had a healthy breakfast of two strawberry poptarts. Thanks to grocery shopping last night. After hangin around all morning and just doing miscellaneous things it was off to get some stuff done. We finally left about 2:00ish. Our first stop was Ft. Belvor. We were mostly looking for a futon for the spare bedroom to sleep on instead of the couchs. We spent a while on the base going to the different store like stores looking and browsing for stuff.

After that we headed deeper south into the heart of Virgina. Ok so not that far south. But a lot farther then we had gone. And that's when we came upon it. It was IKEA. Now I was feely awkward about being an IKEA virgin but thankfully there was a sign right in the front door that read"It's ok to be aand IKEA virgin. Thank goodness for big comfortable making signs. After I read that though I was like yah know what this is going to be ok. Next the to greeter there was a pillar with instructions. You pick up your shopping list. Pick up your pencil. Pick up your measuring strip and head on in. I felt like if I was going to be a bum this would be the place to be one. Walk in during the day, hid till night, and let your dreams come true. There were two floors and maps and all sorts of other crap. It was truly a see to believe place. There is a five story parking garage, multiple food courts, and so many pieces of furniture that I could have slept in a different one for a good two years. After we left there to come home it started to downpour. I mean it rained hard for like a good five minutes. Unloaded the truck then came over here. So I guess I'd better go help put together that awesome IKEA futon. You know what I'm talking about with those crazy Sweeds.

Friday

Well Friday has been about the most boreingest day so far. It pretty much consisted of me sleeping. I didn't get up till freakin 10:54. That is the latest I have every slept. Even though it doesn't count for me.

But anyway my dad came to the apartment for lunch. I built a couple model like airplanes that are kinda cool. My dad went back to work for a while while my sister and I played some more video games. After he got back we went to Ft. Myer again. This time we were early enough to get to the stores. So went to the PX where I got the cd Now 21. Afterwords we went to the Commonsary. Which is the grocery store for the forts. Headed home after that and got ready for bed cause I was so tired. Well that's it, so thanks.

Thursday

Well Thursday was a pretty eventful day for not doing anything.

First I got up at 10:17 it felt so weird getting up so late. But then I thought I'm two hours ahead it's ok. I didn't do much just kindof cleaned up around the house. Then my dad came and picked my sister and me up and we went to a place called the Silver Diner. We met his boss, his boss's wife, and their daughter. Their daughter is not even in kindergarden yet and by the time were leaving she was already saying that me and her were going to get married. That was a little weird. But anyway the resturent was a 50's like place. After lunch my dad had to go back to work so he took me and my sister home. After we got back my sister started playing the Playstation 2 and I finished my book (The Da Vinci Code). After a while my dad got home and my sister wanted to go swiming so we came down to the main entrance place and she went swiming and I went upstairs and typed up my last blog.

When she was finally down swiming we decided to go to Ft. Myer and get some food. Little did my dad pay attention to the road we went right past our exit stright into downtown DC. So went spent like an extra 20 to 30 minutes driving around there trying to find our way back to Arlington. Finally when we did make it to Ft. Myer the stores were already closed so we just decided to go home and have pizzia. They sounded like a good idea at first I know but the pizzia on the phone was Apu so he didn't understand what my dad said and my dad didn't understand what he said. After much swearing, cussing, and about 30 points higher on blood pressure the pizzia was finally ordered.

After dinner my dad thought it would be fun to spend the rest of the night till about 1:30 this morning, cleaning out the front room, cleaning up the second bedroom, and just trying to unpack the rest of his crap. During all that the power went out twice. And then when we finally started getting ready for bed the power went out again and wasn't back on till 7:52 this morning.

Well that's it for Thursday. Be sure to come back tomorrow for Friday's installment or as I like to call it today.

Well, well, well

Well I finally made to Washington DC. I know I was going to try and get a post up last night but I just wasn't able to. I wanted to but since my dad doesn't have wifi or a land line I had to wait. He lives in a pretty nice apartment complex. I'm at the main office and that's were they have wifi. He took me a bit to get it on though because there were so many different ones and everything. Next when I get back I'm going to try and see if I can't get a signal from his place. Now enough about all that. On to the main reason why I started this blog. But before I do it will be a while till I get pictures up because I forgot my camera and so I will have to use my dad's and his is a Samsong so anybody who know anything about me and my camera will know why.

Wednesday morning started all most mornings do (if you get up at 5 in the morning). Well got to the airport in Pocatello and I thought it was going to be an okay day. It didn't take long for us to get on the plane and go. By the time we got to Salt Lake City it was about 8:30 I think I don't quite remember. But yeah so we got something to eat and then settled down for a kindof long wait. After about an hour or so we heard an announcement that because the Chicago-O'Hare flight was running late our plane was going to a different gate on the other side of the tarmat. I didn't mind too much since we still had quite a wait left. I just figured that a little excerise would not be too bad. Well the plane was about fifteen minutes late so we got on and got ready to go. The flight itself was not too bad. We got what the call a snack pack with some okish crackers, some cheese for them which was a lot like the regular cheese and crackers, a box or raisens, and then my favorite- short bread cookie. Ummm it was good. For the entertainment part of the flight they had the movie Firewall with Harrison Ford. I had seen previews for it before and thought I don't know but it was better then expected. Following they had Will & Grace and a couple of other weird shows that I didn't wastch. So I just listened to the radio for the rest of the time. When we finally arrivied to Baltimore Washington Internatnal airport it was about 5:30. There was a lot of construction going on so we wanted to get out or there as fast as possible.

By the time we got to Arlington where my dad lives we were starting to get hungrey, so my dad took us to this place called Hard Times Cafe. I must say they have the best wings I have ever had. Then by the time that we got back to my dads place I was so tired that I just went to bed.

Well that's about it for Wednesday. I have to head back but hopefully I can get back on at the apartment to tells about todays "interesting events".
